Charlies Nail Art – Tutti Fruity*

Welcome Back to my blog!

Happy Sunday everyone, I hope you have a great week and enjoyed UK British weather! (Personally, I cant wait for it to cool down a little bit being pale and having ginger isn’t great in the UK heat wave)

Today I will be using round nail art glitter specks in Tutti Fruity. These are larger then fine nail art glitter and can be picked up and placed where ever you would like. I decided to create some simple nail art this time round. A resealable bag cost 75p for 1 gram of product.

This is how the product comes, as always be careful removing the staple that way you will not ruin the resealable bag keeping everything in the bag and easily stored.

Firstly, I painted my nails – i used a similar colour to the glitter specks so that the colours wouldn’t clash.

I poured some of the product out onto some card (as it is larger it doesn’t go everywhere and wheat ever I don’t use can go back into the bag)

I wet the end of a tooth pick to pick up the glitter, this worked fine for me and I had no issues. However, I do there is a tool you can get that picks up gems and glitter bits.

I used a gel polish so once cured the colour polish was tacky, I added to the glitter onto this layer before a top coat. If you use a normal polish top coat as usual and while it is drying at the glitter and top coat again.

I decided to go with some simple straight lines on all my nails so using the tooth pick just placed the glitter specks where I wanted and used the edge of the pick to straighten then up.

This is what it looks like with all the lines complete. The bag comes with two difference colours is so I alternated them to make them a little more interesting.

This is the finished look.

These could be used by anyone, if you wanted to I am sure these could be used as a base and stamped on top of as well like a normal glitter it may just need a little more patience to arrange them on the full nail.
