Galaxy like Glitter

Hello Everyone,

Recently the lovely Effiena sent me two of her new nail varnish collections. One of them is called Galaxy like Glitter and consists of 4 beautiful glitter polishes. The other I can’t talk about yet but it is due to be released on the 14th August – I will have another blog post so keep an eye out for it.

The glitter collection will be £6.00 each or all four for £20.00. Also for an extra £2 you can get a black base – these polishes do look better on top of a dark colour.

The polishes are called;
Fire 2.0 – Which has fushia, red and auburn glitter bits with a hint of green.
Purple Haze – has indigo, blue and fushia glitter bits with a hint of gold.
Golden Earth – has green, gold and silver glitter bits with a hint of blue.
Deep Space – has green, blue, purple and fushia glitter bits with a hint of gold.

The polishes when they first arrive come in a little drawstring pouch, mine was light purple which is my favourite colour.

The first swatch is of Golden Earth.

The first image is a macro shot of the bottle and brush – which shows all the individual glitters within this polish. The second image is a macro of my nail – which shows three thin coats (with no sponging) and no top coat.

The second swatch of the collection is Deep Space.

The first image is a macro shot of the bottle and brush – which shows all the individual glitters within this polish, I love this one it is so pretty – I have some nail art ideas with a stamping plate I haven’t used from Clear Jelly Stamper yet which has some spacey images on. The second image is a macro of my nail – which shows one thin coat and sponging the polish on- this is the only polish I had to sponge on to get a little more coverage.

The next two are my definite favourites, I haven’t quite decided which one I like more (it may be purple haze!)

The next swatch is Fire 2.0

The first image is a macro shot of the bottle and brush – which shows all the individual glitters within this polish, this polish is so stunning, I love it! The second image is a macro of my nail – which shows two thin coats and no top coat.

The more I look at this image the more and more I love this polish!

Lastly, Purple Haze – I love purple it is my favourite colour ever.

The first image is a macro shot of the bottle and brush – which shows all the individual glitters within this polish and they are just spectacular and are all my favourite kind of colours. The second image is a macro of my nail – which shows two thin coats and no top coat.

I didn’t have to top coat with these polishes as they dried glossy and didn’t dry with too much texture.

I think these would be fab with some stamping and can’t wait to do some nail art with them.

Make sure you check out Effiena’s Esty page here.

Thank you for reading,

Katie, xox.
